Carmen Lynskey

Carmen has worked in the Social Services sector for over 25 years in a number of Senior Leadership roles. Throughout her career she has worked primarily in the social housing and/or Mental Health Sectors.

​

These roles have been in National and local government and the NGO sector. Carmen has worked across organisations including Housing NZ, Emerge Aotearoa, Comcare Trust and the Christchurch City Council.

​

With a degree in Psychology and driven by a passion to make a difference in the community, Carmen is dedicated to supporting people to reach their full potential. Her new role of General Manager brings together a strong alignment of her personal values and those of YWCA. She is looking forward to working with the team at YWCA to ensure delivery of high-quality services and improving the lives of whanau the organisation supports.
